Exercise 3: The Organizational Policy Check

If you work in an organization, find out whether it has an AI usage policy. This might be called a "generative AI policy," "AI usage guidelines," "LLM policy," or something similar. Check your intranet, your employee handbook, or ask your manager or IT department. If a policy exists, read it and note whether your current AI use is compliant. If no policy exists, identify who the right person is to raise this with — likely your manager, your IT director, or your compliance team. The goal isn't necessarily to change your behavior immediately. It's to know where the lines are.

If you work independently or don't have an organizational policy to consult, skip this part of the exercise and move to Exercise 4.
