What Changes — and What Doesn't
The AI tools will change dramatically. New tools will emerge. Current tools will be deprecated. The specific vulnerabilities will change. The threat landscape will evolve. Someone will discover a new attack method and it will spread. By this time next year, some of what's in this course will be partly obsolete.
What doesn't change: the value of verifying unexpected requests before acting on them. The importance of knowing what data you're sharing and with whom. The principle that autonomous systems should have minimum access. The recognition that partial knowledge creates risks if it produces overconfidence. The discipline of escalating when something exceeds your knowledge. The habit of the pause, the verification, the question. These principles will outlast every specific threat covered in this course.
